Respiratory health issues are still not well known by the French population and by health care and social institutions. Absent from the Government’s major recent health plans (Ma Santé 2022, Ségur de la santé…), only significant targeted measures involving all proximity actors will raise public awareness about respiratory diseases and their risk factors. These measures will only have an impact on public health if they involve the Government, central and local government administrations and health professionals in private practice, hospital settings, as well as in school and at work.
